
ASSESSMENTS:
Good assessments or testing provides an analysis of a learner's strengths and weaknesses of all achievement areas including reading, math and writing, as well as, a wide range of cognitive skills such as visual and auditory processing, discrimination, working memory, etc.
At The Thinking Center, the testing process usually lasts between one and two hours.
CONSULTATIONS:
After the testing is complete, a consultation is scheduled with the director of The Thinking Center. During the consultation, the director takes a brief history of the student's or client's successes and weaknesses and formulates a plan of intervention based on the outcomes from the assessments and testing.
